Baylham is a small Mid Suffolk village overlooking the Gipping Valley between Needham Market and Claydon.

There are about 98 households in the village with a population of approximately 250. The village is spread over a wide area in three sections.

The first part is on the main road, the middle part around the village church of St Peter’s and the furthest around Baylham Hall.
